A collection of patches fixing tuiterm related issues.
All the patches are trivial, apart from "Add Term::check_size", but because that
one is testsuite related, and the branch has been extensively reviewed using both
Claude Code and Gemini CLI, I'm pushing this.
Tested on x86_64-linux.
