With Linux kernel it will work:
$ md5sum /tmp/sleep;/tmp/sleep 1h &p=$!;rm /tmp/sleep;ls -l /proc/$p/exe;md5sum /proc/$p/exe
85bde4e40576d0fd8172dd3b91822cff /tmp/sleep
[1] 25677
lrwxrwxrwx 1 jkratoch jkratoch 0 Nov 23 17:17 /proc/25677/exe -> /tmp/sleep\ (deleted)
