TBH I do not find this whole request too useful and I may be one of the people using various GDB variants most interchange-ably. I am also fine with dropping this feature completely. Both the "ignore-errors" or the "version" path have various difficulties where one may find easier to deal with the problem by hand, at least I do. Jan
