Before looking at the patch itself, let me answer the following
question:
> Who are the maintainers of
> - i386 solaris
> - sparc solaris
> and
> - mips irix?
I don't think we have any specific maintainers for these ports.
I will look at the patch, and test them on i386/sparc solaris.
I will also try to give mips-irix a shot at seeing if watchpoints
still work after your patch.
