Still on the can or worms channel, I've been through some similar renaming a couple of days ago: http://sourceware.org/ml/gdb-patches/2009-03/msg00324.html ... and I can attest that it is painful to write such spelled out changelogs, so I can understand if one wants to short circuit it --- yet I'd done it exactly for "grepability". I hope it is clear that this is a different case from Nathan's log. -- Pedro Alves
