I'm confused too - what option?
I think making the "no debugging symbols" message always include
filenames would be a useful improvement; no need of an option there.
I don't think that displaying the message for shared libraries is
particularly useful. Maybe for "set verbose" though?
("help set verbose" is really uninformative.)
