No, the gdb.dwarf2 tests are supposed to be architecture independent.
I don't see why you couldn't write one that would work OK on multiple
architectures; the dw2-basic.S example already includes a type.

Anyway, the code patch is OK; I'll ask for someone else to decide
whether this kind of testcase is useful (I'm not sure that it is).
