Honestly, its all pretty obvious. How long ago was SUN_FIXED_LBRAC_BUG
removed?
It went out with support for SunOS 3 and SunOS 4 and the SPARC
rewrite. That's not too long ago, but I don't expect us to revive
those.
I'll commit this in a week or so if nobody objects.
