When I found myself writing yet another way of moving data from an
i387 FSAVE area to GDB's register array for FreeBSD/i386 I decided
that it would be useful to have a generic pair of functions to do
this. Hence the birth of two new files. The FreeBSD/i386 port will
use this, and it is my intention to convert the other i386 native
configurations to use them too.

FYI,
I've committed the attatched, it enables the simulator profiling code by
default. If someone doesn't want profiling support then it can be
compiled out using --disable-sim-profile.
