Please re-read the text that I cited in my response, and you will see
that I was reacting to an entirely different part of your and Mark's
exchange.

Anyway, I don't understand what is your point.  In another message in
this thread you were complaining about the futility of the discussion,
and yet you yourself start futile sub-threads that have nothing to do
with the issue at hand.
