Ok, I took part of Yao's patch (thanks Yao!) and changed the code to use
warning.  I left my code in place to also send the inotifywatch messages
to gdb.log -- this is nice to have because it interleaves the
notifications with the test suite output, so you can find precisely
where the bad file operation was done.

I'll update the ChangeLogs and send a new series shortly.
